Jeff Yowell is currently the Marketing and Communications director for the Tulsa Port of Catoosa.

Before that, he held similar posts at Gilcrease Museum, the Tulsa City Council, and Mathey Dearman, Inc.

He was Managing Director of Designers Unlimited for three years.

Earlier in his career, he spent three years in China, living in Wuhan and in Beijing, where he was an editor at China Radio International and taught English as a second language.

He speaks Mandarin.

Jeff got his start in feature writing at Uptown News in Tulsa as well as the Tulsa Tribune.

He is a 1990 graduate of the University of Tulsa.
